Jun 17, 2019 Sharpening end mills by grinding off the bottom never made sense to me, rarely are we plunging, most cutting is with the side. Of course the idea with bottom sharpening is remove enough off the bottom to get to a fresh bit of side, but lobbing off 12 with a zip cutter then tuning up the end seemed wasteful.
